# Activity Log & Summary

## Overview

The **Activity Log** provides production leaders with a comprehensive view of recent edits, additions, and updates made across the production by all collaborators. It acts as an audit trail and an activity feed to keep management informed of the latest changes.

## Features

### Activity Summary Widget

Found on the Dashboard, the **Activity Summary Widget** surfaces the most recent, high-priority changes immediately upon login, giving you a quick pulse of the production's latest activities.

### Activity Log Tab

The dedicated Activity Log tab provides the full history of changes.

* **Stories vs. Diffs**: Events are tagged to distinguish between friendly updates ("Stories", e.g., "Actor checked in") and technical changes ("Diffs", e.g., "Script line 43 modified").
* **Smart Grouping & Collapse**: Multiple rapid edits to the same document or by the same person are smartly collapsed to reduce noise and keep the log readable.

## Access

This feature is focused on **Admin and Management roles**, ensuring that those responsible for the production have the visibility required to maintain data integrity and track progress.
