# Account Settings

## Overview

In the current app:

* **My Profile** is the personal self-serve surface you can actually open in-app
* **Settings** covers preferences and project-level configuration
* Account-credential changes and account-level deletion remain support-managed rather than self-serve

Use [My Profile](/pro/user/features/my-profile) for display name, contact details, emergency contact, pronouns, notification preference, and cast measurement notes.

## Accessing Account Settings

There is no separate **Account Settings** destination in the current Pro UI.

For the personal surface that does exist:

1. Click your **avatar** in the top-right corner
2. Select **My Profile**

## What You Can Change Yourself Right Now

In the current app, the self-serve personal fields live in [My Profile](/pro/user/features/my-profile), including:

* Preferred name
* Pronouns
* Phone number
* Emergency contact name and phone
* Notification preference
* Cast measurement notes and measurements where applicable

## Support-Managed Account Changes

If you need help with:

* Login email changes
* Password resets beyond the normal provider flow
* Sign-in troubleshooting
* Account-level deletion
* Questions about retained account records

contact support so the request can be handled manually.

Project owners can still delete individual cloud projects from project settings; see [Data Retention & Deletion](./data-retention.md) for what project deletion currently covers.

## Forgot Password

If your sign-in provider supports a normal password-reset flow, start from the login screen first. If that path does not resolve the issue, contact support for manual help.
