# Settings & Stats

> **Status: Proposed / pre-launch. On Book Rehearsal docs describe intended behavior and may not match a shipped app yet.**

> **Customize your rehearsal experience and track your progress over time.**

***

## Overview

The Settings tab lets you configure how rehearsals behave, manage your account, and view your access status. The Stats screen gives you a detailed breakdown of your performance across all sessions.

***

## Settings

### Strictness Level

A visual three-option picker lets you select your default strictness level:

| Level | Name | Description |
|:---|:---|:---|
| 1 | **The Gist** | Forgiving — paraphrasing accepted |
| 2 | **Rehearsal** | Standard accuracy |
| 3 | **Opening Night** | Word-perfect required |

This sets the default for all new sessions. You can also override it per-session on the rehearsal setup screen. For details on how each level works, see [Strictness Levels](./strictness.md).

***

### Show Cue Context

**Toggle: On / Off**

When enabled, the cue line (the line before yours) is displayed during Flashcard Mode to give you context. When disabled, only your blurred line is shown.

::: tip Leave It On Early
Cue context helps you remember what triggers your line. Turn it off later for a harder challenge.

### Auto-Advance

**Toggle: On / Off**

When enabled in Flashcard Mode, the app automatically advances to the next line after a brief pause when you submit a correct answer. When disabled, you manually tap to advance.

***

## Account

The account section shows:

* **Your name and email** — The account you're signed in with
* **Sign Out button** — Signs you out and returns to the welcome screen

***

## Access Status

During pre-launch review, access tiers are proposed and may change before release. If you are part of a dogfood or test group, follow the access instructions provided by the owner/operator instead of relying on public pricing language.

***

## Stats {#stats}

The Stats screen displays your rehearsal performance data across all sessions. Navigate to it from the Settings tab or the bottom navigation bar.

### Summary Row

Three key metrics at a glance:

| Metric | What It Shows |
|:---|:---|
| **Accuracy %** | Your overall accuracy across all sessions |
| **Sessions** | Total number of rehearsal sessions completed |
| **Practice Time** | Total time spent rehearsing |

### Accuracy Chart

A breakdown of your accuracy performance across rehearsal modes, helping you see where you're strongest and where you need more practice.

### Trouble Spots

A list of lines you've frequently missed or scored low on. Use this to identify which sections need the most attention, then target them with the [A/B Loop slider](./scene-selection.md#ab-loop-slider).
