Barry AI Honesty
Human review required. Barry is an assistant. It can be useful, and it can be wrong.
Verify Before Acting
Do not treat Barry as the authority for:
- Call times
- Schedule conflicts
- AEA-style or contract rules
- Safety decisions
- Copyright or licensing questions
- Medical, access, or emergency-contact decisions
- Any answer that will be sent to cast, crew, or production leadership
Check the schedule, script, report, contact sheet, or a human decision-maker before acting.
What Barry Uses
Barry answers by combining your question with relevant production context. Depending on the project and tier, that context can include schedule, cast, show structure, notes, props, sound, lighting, and other project data.
Barry should not have access to other productions unless you are also a member of those productions.
Lite And Pro
| Tier | What To Know |
|---|---|
| Lite | Uses the default app-provided Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite pathway and may have daily usage limits. |
| Pro / BYOK | Uses Gemini 3.1 Pro with a Google AI Studio API key configured by an allowed production role. Google AI usage and retention terms apply to that key. |
Do not enter a personal API key unless you understand that requests may be processed under Google's AI service terms for that key.
Wrong Answers
If Barry gives a wrong answer:
- Do not use the answer as production truth.
- Verify the correct answer from the source.
- Report the question, Barry's answer, and the correct answer through the feedback path.
- Remove private script or contact details from the report unless support asks for a narrow excerpt.
Good Uses During Dogfood
Barry is best for:
- Finding likely references in your production data
- Summarizing non-critical notes
- Drafting questions to ask a human
- Helping locate where to check a schedule, prop, or scene
Barry is not a replacement for a stage manager, production manager, union rulebook, license agreement, or emergency plan.
